FAQS

NEW UPDATE!

Acusculpting® Certificate is NCCAOM Approved. Please note that you must enroll in the complete training system for accreditation.

1. What is Acusculpting®?

Acusculpting® is a cosmetic acupuncture & continuing education training system. This advanced protocol consists of three modules: Superior, Anterior & Posterior. You will learn specialized needling protocols to shape, lift, tighten, and firm the skin on the face & body, thereby “sculpting” the face & body. For more information about the structure of this advanced cosmetic acupuncture e-course, please click the green button below:

2. Who is Acusculpting® for?

You must be licensed to practice acupuncture or have a minimum of 2 years of formal study of Traditional Chinese Medicine/acupuncture at an accredited college to be eligible to take this e-course. Proficient knowledge of traditional acupuncture points and human anatomy is recommended for this course. Some other disciplines are also eligible so please check with your local licensing authority.

3. How long does each e-course (Superior, Anterior & Posterior) take?

PAY AS YOU GO: Approx 4 hours each module.
COMPLETE TRAINING SYSTEM: Approx 12 hours.

TIPS:
a) Study the course outline first and watch the video tutorial
before you begin the practical portion.

b) Please note that
you are encouraged to use a model for the practical portion of this e-course. Please be sure to select a model(s) who will be comfortable with needles such as your acupuncture-loving friends, family, or clients. Once you have studied the course material, you should have a model booked to proceed with the practical portion if you want to follow along with the video tutorials before the e-course expires. Give yourself at least one hour with your model per module. You will want to pause the video tutorial and practice on your model.

c) If you are taking
the complete training system (modules 1-3), it will take approx 12 hours. You can take as little as 2-3 days to complete this. Once you have absorbed the course outline and watched the video tutorials, you will be ready for the practical portion which you can either complete in one session and practice all three modules at once (give yourself approx 3-4 hours with your model) or you can break up the practical portion into two sessions: Day #1: Superior, Day #2: Anterior & Posterior.

d)
Alternatively, you can opt to complete the practical portion with your model without the assistance of the video tutorial anytime and at your own pace. Simply download the needling protocols and follow the charts from your course outline and book a model at your leisure.

4. How much time do I have to complete each e-course?

Whether you opt to pay as you go and take the e-courses individually or enroll in the complete training system at a discounted price, you can obtain your Acusculpting® Certificate from the comfort of your home at your own pace.

PAY AS YOU GO: You will have 3 weeks per module after your first login.
COMPLETE TRAINING SYSTEM: You will have 8 weeks after your first login.

TIPS:
a) Remember, you can obtain your Acusculpting® Certificate in just one weekend (per #3 FAQ above).

b) You can also rest easy knowing that you have plenty of time to complete your training if you are seeking a continuing education opportunity that supports a good life/work balance. Just don’t forget to record your link and password somewhere safe for easy login when you need to access the course again.
